Desert Knights Tour Overview

Day 1 Registration in Sendelingsdrift (RSA) or Hobas (Namibia). 35 kms cycle from Hobas Campsite to the Fish River Canyon&nbsp
Day 2 Morning guided hikes along the Canyon or to Zebra pools. 68 kms cycle from Hobas to the Ai Ais Hotsprings Resort.
Day 3 Morning at leisure in the hot springs or in the large outside pool. 59 kms cycle from Ai Ais to the spectacular Gamkab Canyon.
Day 4 Optional cycle of 13 kms or transfer to Orange River for 20kms kayak to De Hoop.
Day 5 Morning guided hike or at leisure on the banks of the Orange River. 38 kms cycle from De Hoop to Hakkiesdoring as the full moon rises.
Day 6 Early departure for final 67 kms leg to Sendelingsdrift. Evening farewell function.
Day 7 Departure from the /Ai/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park.

Windhoek, 21 December 2016 – In what can be described as a major milestone in the life of the biggest and oldest resort within the Etosha National Park, Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) Okaukuejo generated a revenue of N$ 100 million during the financial year, 1 November 2015 to 31 October 2016 which translated to an overall revenue increase of 16% compared to the previous financial year.

Windhoek, 20 November 2016 – In what has been a very rewarding year for Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), its Onkoshi, Dolomite and Popa Falls resorts each walked away with an Eco Award with a rating of four flowers during the Hospitality Association of Namibia’s (HAN) Gala dinner that was held at Sun Karros Dan Viljoen on 18 November 2016.

Windhoek, 5 November 2016 – 4 November 2016 marked a momentous occasion in the relationship between the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) and Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR). This was as a result of MET handing over three vacuum trucks to NWR in its efforts to assist the company with the supply of portable water and servicing of the ablution facilities at Sossusvlei and the Fish River Canyon View Point.
