Windhoek, Namibia – 24 June 2026 – Namibia Wildlife Resorts wishes to inform guests that /Ai-/Ais Hot Spring & Spa remains open and operational, despite recent flooding caused by heavy rain and rising water levels in the Fish River area. Water levels are now receding, and conditions remain stable.
Hot water is temporarily unavailable because the water pump is submerged. Repairs are underway, and hot water is expected to return within three to four days, if conditions allow.
Most other services remain normal. Guest rooms, electricity, cold drinking water, camping space on higher ground, the restaurant, bar, and tourist shop are all available.
The Fish River Canyon hiking trail remains closed until water levels are safe.
Guests with bookings from 24 June to 3 July 2026 may move their booking to new dates, transfer to another NWR property, or request a full refund.
