1. Reservations Terms and Conditions
1.1 Any reservation and use of the facilities of NWR shall be subject to the NWR Terms and Conditions.
1.2 A payment gateway is operational on this Site, therefore any credit card details supplied will be charged instantly. Should the transaction be successful, the reservation will be confirmed and the payment posted onto your reservation.
1.3 All major credit cards will be accepted.
1.4 Charges and refunds will always be processed in Namibian dollars.
1.5 Credit cards are the only form of payment accepted. (mainly Visa & Master credit cards)
1.6 The card used to make a reservation must be presented at time of check-in along with valid identification.
1.7 Payment in respect of other services rendered by NWR shall be payable by you on departure from the Resorts in question.
1.8 Comments and queries with regard to payments should be e-mailed with full detail to the Onlinebookings@nwr.com.na
1.9 You agree that this transaction constitutes an electronic transaction as defined in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2009 and that a binding agreement has been concluded between NWR and you in terms of which you authorise NWR Resorts at which a reservation has been made to deduct from, or to debit, the credit card the amount owing for services rendered or to be rendered and that your written signature shall not be required for authorisation purposes.
1.10 By clicking the “Payment Policy” button, you signify and accept all terms and conditions contained in this Site.
1.11 NWR accepts no responsibility for refusal or reversal of payments, which shall be a matter between you and your credit card issuer.
1.12 Rates are subject to availability, possible fluctuations over special events or peak periods and are subject to review.
1.13 Rates quoted are per person per night.
1.14 Rates for accommodation are subject to tourism levy, inclusive of VAT and are nett and non-commissionable.
1.15 Should a bed and breakfast rate be booked and paid for online, the breakfast is applicable to the morning after the night’s accommodation. It is not transferable or refundable.
1.16 You will be charged for the accommodation and tourism levy for the original reservation that is processed online at the time of making the reservation. Any amendments or cancellation to the original reservation resulting in changes to your accommodation charge will be processed according to policies in points 2 below.
2. Payment Terms and Conditions for Bookings
- Prices for Meals and activities are subject to change without prior notice.
- Rack Rates include 15% VAT and Tourism Levies.
- Abbreviations: BB – bed & breakfast; DBB – dinner, bed & breakfast; LDBB – lunch, dinner, bed & breakfast; P – Park Entrance fees.
- Admin fees will apply for any modifications, alterations and amendment of dates and camps
2.1 Full Payment:
- Individual Clients: 100% payment is required immediately
- Tour Operators/Travel Agents: 100% payment is required immediately
- A refundable room deposit fee shall be paid on arrival at the Camp
2.2 Cancellation Policy
2.2.1 The parties agree that all cancellations or alterations to bookings shall be done in writing only.
2.2.2 Any modification/amendment/alteration to an existing confirmed booking itinerary resulting in the value of the revised booking being less than the original booking will constitute a cancellation.
2.2.3 The cancellation policy will apply to that portion of the value by which the booking has been adjusted.
2.2.4 Any modification to an existing booking’s date will constitute a cancellation followed by a new booking.
2.2.5 In the event of any cancellation within the periods provided for hereunder (given as days prior to arrival), NWR may charge the following penalty:
- 30 days and more prior to arrival date – 20% of the booking value with be forfeited
- 29 – 15 days before arrival – 30% of the booking value will be forfeited
- 14 – 7 days before arrival – 75% of the booking value will be forfeited
- 6 – 0 days before arrival – 100% of the booking value will be forfeited
- No shows – 100% of the booking value will be forfeited
2.2.6 In the event of Travel restrictions and/or Lock down cancellations due to Covid-19, the Covid-19 policy applies.
2.3 Ministry of Environment and Tourism – Park Entrance and Usage Fees are:

2.3.2 Not included in the accommodation fees
2.3.3 Paid per person and per vehicle per day
2.3.4 Park Gates opens at sunrise and closes at sunset
2.3.5 Skeleton Coast Park Gate operating hours:
- Springbokwasser: Opens Sunrise at 07h00 Latest entry at 15h00
- Ugabmund: Opens Sunrise at 07h00 Latest entry at 15h00
2.3.6 No person shall enter a game park or nature reserve with a PLASTIC BAG. A person who contravenes this commits an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding N$500 or to imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or to both such fine and such imprisonment.
2.4 Confirmation of reservations
2.4.1 If a transaction is authorised by the bank you will receive an on screen confirmation of your reservation.
2.4.2 Should the transaction be declined by the bank, you will receive notification of this on screen and no reservation will be held for you at the Resort.
2.4.3 On confirmation of a reservation on screen, an e-mail will be generated and dispatched to you. The e-mail address provided by you will be used to send the confirmation e-mail. It is advised that you print the confirmation e-mail and present to the Resort upon arrival at the time of check-in (from 14h00 onwards).
Veterinary Cordon Gates: Anderson Gate, Von Lindquist Gate & Galton Gate – Etosha National Park: Raw meat is not allowed to cross cordon gates southwards of Etosha National Park & guests should ensure that raw red meat is consumed while in Etosha National Park.
