The park is a sanctuary to a wide range of indigenous wildlife species, including the endemic Hartmann’s mountain zebra, and a high diversity of birdlife, including endemic species such as the Ruppel’s parrot, Monteiro’s Hornbill, Damara Rockrunner and Whitetailed Shrike.
