The Naukluft Camp is located in the Naukluft section of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, which was originally created to serve as a sanctuary for Hartmann’s mountain zebras, which are endemic to Namibia. Naukluft’s steep cliffs attract various cliff-breeding bird species, including Black eagles, and a variety of wildlife.
The Daan Viljoen Lodge is situated inside the Daan Viljoen Natural Wildlife Park approximately 20 kilometres from Windhoek on the C28 road. The lodge offers nineteen (19) unique African “kraal” inspired chalets with a choice of BBQ facilities at each chalet or scrumptious meals at the Boma restaurant overlooking a large swimming pool.
The lodge further offers conference facilities, meeting venues, wedding facilities, walking trails and game drives inside the Park. Daan Viljoen Lodge is a joint venture PPP between NWR and Sun Karros.
