WR is happy to announce new rates for Hardap and Shark Island.Hardap which offers accommodation in the form of Bush Chalets, Family Chalets and campsites on the periphery of the Hardap Dam, is the perfect place to stop enroute to Namibia’s larger and more prominent National Parks in the south and north of the country, or simply to enjoy a relaxing family breakaway. It’s proximity to the B1 National motorway and the scenic Restaurant overlooking the vast expanse of the Dam also make Hardap ideal for lunch stopovers or day visits. The Dam is a popular angling and watersport location.
Shark Island, situated on a rocky peninsula close to Luderitz is another small Camp with a rich history and breathtaking view of the Atlantic. Accommodation is provided in the historic Lighthouse as well as 3 Island Chalets and campsites. Shark Island offers you a coastal getaway where the Atlantic breeze, sea gulls, Cape Fur Seals and colourful flocks of Flamingo are your only neighbours.
