Guided Driving

NWR offers game drives from its Camps in Etosha National Park, Waterberg Plateau Park and in the Namib Naukluft Park. Conducted by our experienced guides the morning game drives in Etosha National Park, starting just before sunrise depending on the time of the year, are an opportunity for visitors to witness early morning animal behaviour such as Lions hunting and Black Rhino sightings.

The afternoon game drives give the visitor a general experience of fauna and flora in the Parks. These drives last until just after sunset and include waterhole visits and park exploration, ending with a sundowner at one of a number of spectacular viewpoints.

Night drives, conducted in Etosha National Park by NWR's experienced guides, usually start at 19h00. Exclusively offering a night-time experience where the nocturnal wildlife activities can be observed at close quarters, these drives last for about 3 hours.
