Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) was established in 1998, through the Namibia Wildlife Resorts Act, Act 3 of 1998. The State remains the sole shareholder of the company.
NWR is primarily a tourism hospitality company, providing accommodation and campsites throughout the country. The Company has been under new management since April 2006, when the new Managing Director, Mr Aupindi Tobie Aupindi, was appointed.
NWR is seeking to redefine and reposition itself as a provider of outstanding tourism services within the protected area network of Namibia. Its current exclusive positioning within protected areas affords NWR a significant competitive advantage over other tourism enterprises.
Vision To become the provider of a reliable, welcoming and appealing tourism service in the prime tourism destinations of Namibia.
Partners The Ministry of Environment and Tourism is the parent Ministry for Namibia Wildlife Resorts. We also work in close collaboration with the Namibia Tourism Board and Air Namibia.
